Genuinely old houses
Almond Grove and the streets off Main have homes from around the turn of the last century. Doors there are solid, heavy and often not square any more, and the frames have moved with the house. They can be made to latch, but it is hinge and strike work, not a new door.
Hillside homes
Up towards the summit, access is the job. Steps, slopes, and a long way from where the van can stop. I will ask about parking before quoting.
