What the price covers
A faucet swap is the job I am asked for most, and it is the one most often quoted badly. The price depends on what is under the sink, not on the faucet itself.
If the shutoff valves still turn, the job is short. If they are frozen or weeping, they have to be replaced first, and that is a separate line on the estimate before I touch anything.
